SNORKELING TOURS
Half Moon Bay is a snorkeling haven. Teaming with colorful tropical fish and coral this area is home to spotted eagle rays and hawksbill, loggerhead, and green sea turtles, as well as numerous fish species. Snorkeling is fun, safe and easy for all ages. Our snorkel tours last approximately 90 minutes and ventures out in the Akumal Dive Adventures boat to various local snorkeling destinations.
Our staff of experienced snorkelers and dive guides are familiar with marine areas around Akumal and will accompany you in an exciting underwater adventure. You will see an abundance of marine life and colorful coral formations with the knowledgeable and safe guidance of our team. Snorkel equipment is included.
Cost $25 per person.

Yal-Ku
Lagoon |
A short walk
down the back roads of Akumal will lead you to Yal-Ku Lagoon, a natural
limestone cove fed by the ocean and underground springs. With a small entry fee, this lagoon is
great for beginners and experienced snorkelers alike. You will see large
parrot fish, turtles, stingrays and juveniles of various species of fish.
Yal-Ku Lagoon is also an excellent place to spot bird life, including
pelicans and herons.

and fins are available for rent by the day or week from Akumal Dive Adventures.
